I’m really into animals. (Sidenote: I don’t like domestic animals, but I am really into wild animals) So once every so often, I will be highlighting a badass animal.
The Star-Nosed Mole.
A seemingly ugly specimen of the mammalian family.
Cool fact: When underwater, since it is blind and cannot visually hunt for food, the star-nosed mole locates fish by blowing out air bubbles over a certain distance, and then sucks the air bubbles back in to its star nose. The crazy thing that happens in this process is that if there are any fish near its bubble area, the bubbles will pick up the scent of the fish, thus, allowing the mole to know where the fish is located.
